Cheers to 🌱 GROWTH!
As 2021 comes to a close, I love to look back and celebrate my coaching clients' growth + learnings + accomplishments throughout the year!
And my goodness, there is soooooooo much to celebrate.
My heart beams with gratitude that I get to work with such curious, growth-minded, passionate, caring, energized, creative clients!
Here are a few client growth stories you might enjoy...
One client decided to love herself as she is. She recently gave herself the gift of a tropical island photo shoot to honor and celebrate her beautiful body now. Not after she’s lost 10 pounds lighter or fits into a smaller size. By choosing to honor her worthiness exactly as she is right now, she tapped into her internal confidence and creativity that seemed impossible to reach when she was telling herself she didn’t “deserve” to even approve of (let alone, celebrate) her body until she achieved her goal weight. She sent me a voice note the other day thanking me for my encouragement and saying “The photos will be a great reminder to really appreciate myself even though I wanted to wait until I looked different or lost weight. I’m learning to embrace and love it all now.”
Another client is stepping closer to a lifelong dream. He came into coaching with the big dream of giving his own Ted talk someday. He's now in a Ted Talk incubator (he loves it!) and he's already received glowing feedback about his 60-second TedX synopsis video. He recently texted me and said "I'm moving toward my goal - which I wouldn't be moving toward without your support and encouragement."
One client is trusting and honoring her powerful intuition. She came into coaching wanting to figure out what was next on her career path and she wanted to trust her intuition more. When we did some deep exploration about what lit her up in her past careers (and what didn't!), she gained a huge insight that she wanted to work in the Bridal Industry full-time. And even though it's something she's known for a long time, she hadn't trusted it until this year. She’s been lit up about the Bridal Industry since high school when she used to carry around a binder full of bridal inspiration. Full circle moment! Hear from this client about her experience as my coaching client in this Outgrow the Grind podcast episode.
Another client chose himself. He came to coaching feeling stagnant in a role he’s held for more than six years. Even though he felt stuck, he also felt resistant to leave an organization that he’d given so much of his time, energy, and heart to. He'd been telling himself that the growth and compensation that the company had promised might be worth waiting for. Last month, he received and accepted an offer from one of the world’s top consulting firms. He’s excited about all of the growth and creativity this next chapter will bring him. And he’s proud to have taken a chance on himself instead of more years of resentfully waiting for change.
One client went from solo perfectionist to connected presence. When we began coaching, she was working long hours, rarely took time away from work, and was feeling lonely. During our coaching relationship, she started to make space for how she was feeling and she also started to ask for help - from family members, a Professional Organizer, and a Health Coach. Her old belief that she wasn't worthy of being supported is gone. She sent me a note recently that she’s proud of some major shifts both at work and with her health. She was able to get there by being kinder with herself and reaching out to others to ask for and receive support.
Another client learned to discern the difference between a "should" and a "want." She came to me with the realization that “muscling” her way through life wasn’t really working for her. In our first few sessions, she was very hesitant to carve out space for herself - she was just “too busy.” The shift I’ve seen in this client has been tremendous. This year, she followed her dream to move across the country and live by the ocean; she’s setting boundaries at work; and she’s so clear on what she wants and what matters most to her now that she intentionally makes room for it. Before, it was all about crushing tangible goals she "should" achieve with no connection to how it felt along the way. Now she’s opening to the next steps in her career and even considering things that come “easy” to her!
Are you wondering what these stories have in common?
I see a few themes.
Each of these clients are tuned in to what they really want. On the inside. Not what their boss wants, or what their spouse wants, or what our societal conditioning says they should want, what THEY want.
They were 100% committed to showing up for themselves. Even on the days when they didn’t “have time” or were judging themselves harshly or when they didn’t feel like they “deserved” the time and space to focus on themselves.
These clients decided that they were worthy of asking for and receiving help. They knew that the online courses, self-help books or massive workshops weren’t getting them any closer to who they want to be. And they stopped beating themselves up for not being able to get there on their own. A coach friend of mine says "you can't read the label on your own jar."
Are you ready to honor what you really want?
To show up for yourself?
To ask for and receive help?
I’m especially skilled at (and enjoy!) working with deeply caring high-achievers who tend to put their needs last.
Is this you or someone you know?

I'm wishing you and your family the most cozy, replenishing, truly restful last few days of the year. đź’›
I hope that you can create a little bit of space before the year ends to pause and feel into all of the ways that you’ve grown this year.
With love and gratitude,
Stacy
PS. Earlier this month, I participated in something super fun called the Anti-Hustle Holiday Countdown. It’s a bunch of awesome female podcasters sharing some of their favorite things (or gripes) about the holidays! It’s like a summit but WAY less commitment and you get lifetime access for free.In my episode, I talk about National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and my grandma’s hand-knit matching gifts. You can grab your ticket here!
