Grateful for you

Hi,

I don't know about you, but I'm finding it hard to believe that the holidays are already upon us.

Wasn't it just September? 🤔

And while Thanksgiving has never been my favorite holiday because of its painful mistruths and rewritten history [more about the real history of Thanksgiving here], I will reflect about what I'm grateful for and gather with family to share a meal together tomorrow.

I just finished making brussels sprouts with bacon to bring to our meal (and oh by the way, the holiday is called "THANKSgivin" in Georgia).

I wanted to send you a note to say that I'm grateful for YOU.

You're here on my email list because you're one of my coaching clients, or a previous client, or an Outgrow the Grind podcast listener, or a podcast guest, or you're in my Women's Boundaries Group on FB.

And many of you have chosen to connect with me in more ways than one - that means so much to me!

I know there are a lot of coaches out there.

And podcasters.

And entrepreneurs with launches and consistent marketing and all the right hashtags.

I don't take it lightly that you've chosen to be in community with me.

Your attention is precious.

Your time is precious.

Your energy is precious.

Heck, your inbox is precious.

Thank you for being here.

I wanted to share a few links that I hope you'll find helpful:

  1. My final podcast episode of the year where I talk about ways you can be intentional around WHO and HOW you're being (+ boundaries too, because well.. family... holidays... life). My small team and I are taking the next couple o' months off of podcasting to rest.

  2. A beautiful little poem that touches on the capacity of our hearts to be grateful.

  3. Here's a Spotify Playlist called "Feeling Thankful" that I have a hunch you might enjoy. It's 4 hours and 45 minutes long and includes a couple of my favorite artists singing their own "Thank You" songs (Bonnie Raitt and Led Zeppelin, especially!). Might be good cooking music?

I hope that you have some truly joyful and replenishing moments tomorrow - where you can relax in your favorite chair, take a nice walk, savor a delicious bite, or enjoy the company of a loved one.

Know that I'm thinking of you with appreciation.

🧡 Warmly,

Stacy

P.S. Here's a pic of the flowers I sent my family in Colorado for their gathering tomorrow... didn't Natalie the florist do such an amazing job?!
