Welcome to Outgrow the Grind
Outgrow the Grind is a podcast for caring, thoughtful people who are ready to stop fitting their own needs into the tiny slivers left over after everyone else has been taken care of.
I started Outgrow the Grind because I wanted these conversations to be available to anyone who needed them, not just the people I coach one-on-one. My hope is that every episode leaves you feeling a little more seen, a little less alone, and a little more connected to yourself.
Through honest conversations, coaching demonstrations, and interviews with inspiring guests, we explore what it looks like to build more self-trust, navigate change with greater intention, and create a life that feels like your own.
If you've spent years caring for everyone else, this podcast is your invitation to include yourself in that care, too.

Whether you're new here or you’ve been listening for years, I hope these conversations help you trust yourself and tend to your own needs more.
S7 Ep 1: Rootward: Letters from the Senses, Sight
What happens when we slow down enough to truly see what’s around us and within us? In this intimate first episode of Rootward: Letters from the Senses, Stacy and Seema Sodha exchange voice notes from nature as they explore grief, belonging, healing, and the quiet wisdom waiting for us when we return to our senses.
S6 Ep 12: The Disease to Please with Dr. Reuben Faloughi
If you’ve ever felt like you have to shrink your needs to support everyone else, this episode is for you. Dr. Reuben Faloughi joins me to explore how people-pleasing shows up in your life—and how unlearning it can open the door to a deeper, more honest relationship with yourself. This conversation is a reminder that your healing matters. Not just for you—but for all of us.

S6 Ep 7: “Failure” is the Fertilizer!
What if feeling like a “failure” is just a natural part of growth?

S6 Ep 4: Prioritize your precious wellness
In this episode, you’ll gain inspiration for when nurturing your body and tending to your wellness feels nearly impossible.
S6 Ep 3: Permission is Self-Love
In this episode, you’ll get to be a fly. on the wall for a coaching session with a volunteer client, Kate. Our session digs into the topic of self-love, what’s enough vs. extra, how to slow down your mind and body, and what permission to rest looks like.
S6 Ep 2: Love Yourself Anyway
In this episode, you’ll get to be a fly. on the wall for a coaching session with a volunteer client, Kate. Our session digs into the topic of self-love, what’s enough vs. extra, how to slow down your mind and body, and what permission to rest looks like.
S6 Ep 1: Are you grinding or growing?
While on my wonderfully spacious summer break, I realized that so much of my outgrowing the grind focus in previous seasons has been about outgrowing the CAREER grind, when in fact, it’s possible to outgrow the grind in ANY area of your life. In this episode, I dig into 10 life areas and share examples of ways you might be grinding or growing.
Special thanks to Kris Zarnoch, my incredible producer and editor, who magically picks the perfect audio clip to feature every. single. time.
