Hi there, I’m Stacy.

I’ve been described as “an intuitive coach who brings compassion, joy, and safety to get right to the heart of things.

I’m a coach, facilitator, and former community radio DJ known for my enthusiasm [!!].

I help high achievers and people pleasers tune into what they need and want so they can pour into who and what matters most from an overflowing [instead of empty] cup.

I believe that the world’s a better place when high achievers and people pleasers can give themselves permission to honor what they need and want without the massive weight of guilt and burnout.

Over the years, I’ve worked with many amazing individuals, teams, and organizations who want to make the world a better place without sacrificing their values or their joy.

When I’m not coaching or facilitating, you’ll find me on my next travel adventure (even better if it includes seeing live music!)

My latest partnership is a collaboration with The Firefly Group, a collective of specialists in organizational culture change and leadership development that partners with leaders to create a better future for them, their organization, and everyone they reach. They’re based in Scotland, and I’ll be meeting them in person in October!

Subscribe to my newsletter, listen to my podcast, or connect with me on Instagram.

One supercharged coaching session with Stacy really helped me get unstuck in ways that years of therapy and coaching never did.

She's so positive - not in that over-the-top fake way - but in that compassionate, grounded-in-truth kind-of-way.

The way that shines a light on a path forward. Her actionable steps are practical and easy to implement, so much so that everything just clicked.

Thank you Stacy, your grace and kindness have been the gifts that keep on giving, and I cannot recommend you enough.

Still curious?

  • Before working as a coach and facilitator, I served in a variety of leadership roles, mostly in nonprofit organizations.

I’ve worked with sexual assault survivors, inmates at San Quentin State Prison, individuals and families seeking affordable housing, people who were unemployed and under-employed, and even the author and icon Mama Gena.

The common thread between survivor advocacy, restorative justice, affordable housing, stable employment, women’s empowerment, coaching, and facilitation is that while the people and circumstances and goals were different, I was always gently guiding people towards their own sense of personal fulfillment.

I earned my Masters in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco in 2011.

  • Born and raised in the mountains of Southwest Colorado, I grew up with a love of lip sync dance parties, exploring nature, and studying people.

I've always been fascinated by human interactions and even at a young age, my late Grandpa said I had a contagious enthusiasm (he called me a "spark plug").

I came into this world with a knack for tuning in to what lights people up and reflecting it back to them.

In my continuing commitment to growth, I’ve had the great honor of training and becoming a certified professional coach with the Co-Active Training Institute. I’ve also studied mental fitness with the creator of Positive Intelligence, somatic coaching with Strozzi Institute, compassionate inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, heart-centered leadership with Danielle LaPorte, Unshaming with David Bedrick, and Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) for coaches with The Roundtable Institute.

I'm currently in LEAD Athens' class of 2024-2025 with 34 other local Athens changemakers dedicated to making Athens an even better place to be.

To learn more about me and dig deeper into the life experiences that inspired me to work with high achievers and people pleasers, listen to this episode of my podcast, Outgrow the Grind.

  • I’ve coached and facilitated trainings for a diverse range of leaders across many different sectors.

I’ve worked with seasoned executives in a multinational technology company, global professional and financial services firms, oil and gas, retail, education, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofits, and small businesses.

  • I loved being interviewed and featured in Nabo Realty's Faces of Athens (May 2024). Here's the article.

My writing has been featured in the following Soulacy Magazine articles:

I've been delighted to be interviewed in the following podcast episodes:

    • I've criss-crossed the United States a few times with stints in some of the best cities in the US (including San Francisco, NYC, and Portland). I’m now living [with my partner and lots of houseplants] in Athens, Georgia.

    • I've had the great honor of supporting two of my favorite people as they were dying. I don't think there's any bigger honor in life than to care for the people we love. My mentor Jaimee Karroll-Smith, passed in 2013 and my grandpa Harold Brown, passed in 2021.

    • In the last few years, I've rekindled my love of dance by being part of a local adult dance troupe and traveling cross-country to dance with the Awakening Showgirls in San Francisco. I've danced in two Carnaval Parades in San Francisco and I’ve loved the playfulness and connections that’ve come with it!

What guides our work together…

  • Aliveness

It’s completely possible for your life to energize and inspire you, more often than not.

  • Alignment

When your values and choices are in sync, your inner and outer self are one and the same.

  • Connection

Finding out what you really want starts by getting in tune with your body.

  • Curiosity

Instead of shutting down or tuning out, ask yourself: “What else might be possible?

  • Compassion

Having empathy for others starts with loving yourself—your whole, imperfect self.
