Time management + the Titanic

A lot of people think that if they were just better at time management, they'd be happier.

I *wish* that were true, but I know that being good at time management isn’t the same as knowing if what you’re saying “yes” to actually matters to you or brings you energy.

And if you're not saying "yes" to the right things...

You can be reaaaaallllllly good at time management but be totally exhausted and drained by all the things that you added to your calendar.

Which feels about as motivating as this...

And just about as useful as rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Most of us don’t have any kind of vetting tool for what we say yes to - and for big-hearted folks who want to be helpful, a lot of our yessses are driven purely by our sense of obligation or desire to avoid feeling guilty.

One way to make sure the right things end up in your calendar is to know what matters most to you (your values).

In my Consciously Close 2022 + Create 2023 workshop on Saturday, you'll get clear on that.

Once you know what you care about, the next time a new task or invitation pops up, you know which yesses honor your values and which ones don’t.

Join Saturday's workshop to see where you can bring more of YOU into your calendar and life.

Hope to see you there,

Stacy

P.S. It's totally okay to plan 2023 one month and 4 days into the new year. LD from Curb Your Enthusiasm may not agree, but we're not askin' him! [See one of my fave Curb clips below.]

P.P.S. Bring a friend and you both get 20% off! The discount code is BRINGABUDDY.

LD thinks there’s a “statute of limitations” on wishing people a happy new years.
