What do YOU need?
And I don't know about you, but I have many more years of practice taking care of others than I do taking care of myself.
For most of my life, empathy tended to flow OUT instead of IN.
The words "How can I help you" made their way out of my mouth so much easier than "what do I need?"
Bolster your boundaries!
Carving out time and space for yourself requires saying "no" to other things. And by saying "no" to other commitments, you say YES to yourself!
What's your version of fertile soil?
Yes, that rose that managed to get just enough sunlight, water and nutrients and all those things is exceptional, but what would that rose have been if it was planted in fertile soil? What if you found the place where you were nurtured and developed and you could really just thrive?
Not sure what you want?
And one thing I want to make crystal clear: not knowing what you want is completely normal and it's NOT your fault.
