A heartfelt August check-in

Hope your August is off to a good start.

School started today in Athens and it's been so fun to see my friends' kids' cute first day pics.

It's been a while since I've written you!

Since my last email, I've been to 🍎 New York City, 🌊 Long Island, and 🎰 Las Vegas.

We celebrated my sweetheart's birthday (see the first pic below!).

I led an [in person!] strategic planning session with a client organization's leadership team.

I formed a collaborative partnership with Firefly, a leadership development firm in Scotland!

I attended a refreshingly real 2-day marketing conference with two of my favorite teachers and one of my favorite people and recent podcast guest Kellita. And of course I just had to try the lazy river at Mandalay Bay (see my pre-river pic below). I'll be sharing more about my time in Las Vegas soon.

And, I attended a retreat for a local leadership program I'll be in for the next year with my 34 newest friends. The retreat included a high ropes course (proof below) and sharing about who I am in 3 minutes! Read my blog about the transformative weekend right here.

I also gave my About Page a MUCH-needed upgrade (thanks to an amazing class from Creative Mornings!).

It's been a full few weeks with many ups and downs and in-betweens.

But enough about me—what's been happening in your life lately? I’d love to hear from you.

As we embark on this new month, and with all that's swirling in and around us, I want to remind you of something important:

Your needs matter.

Your voice matters.

Your joy matters!

Take a moment to reflect. Maybe even a nice slow deep breath with an even bigger exhale.

Of these ⬆️ three things, which one needs your attention the most right now?

What's one tiny step can you take [in 10 minutes or less] to honor your needs, voice, or joy?

It might be asking someone for help, checking to make sure your voter registration's up to date, or signing up for that watercolor painting class you've been wanting to try.

Whatever your tiny step is, will you take it before the end of the day?

In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters. We become so focused on meeting the needs and demands of others that we so easily forget about us.

Have you been nurturing yourself as much as you nurture those around you? Have you been listening to the whispers of your heart or drowning them out in the noise of obligations?

Let this month be the beginning of a new way of living. One that genuinely feels good to you.

Cheering you on,

Stacy

PS. If you're ready to honor your needs, voice, and joy, reply to this email or visit this page to explore the possibilities. I'd love to support you!
